FutureDraft is designed to keep your personal time capsules private and offline.

Information We Handle

FutureDraft lets you create and store personal content on your device, including draft titles, written messages, selected or captured photos, voice recordings, unlock dates, opened status, notification identifiers, and app preferences.

We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share this information with third parties or us.

How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used only to provide the app’s features, including creating drafts, storing attached media, hiding drafts until their unlock date, showing draft status, playing voice notes, and scheduling local unlock reminders.

Local Storage

FutureDraft stores your drafts and media locally on your device. The app does not use developer-operated servers, online databases, advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third-party tracking tools.

Depending on your Apple device settings, local app data may be included in device backups such as iCloud Backup. Those backups are handled by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy practices.

Photos, Camera, Microphone, and Notifications

FutureDraft may request access to your photo library, camera, microphone, and notifications.

Photo library and camera access are used only when you choose to attach photos to a draft. Microphone access is used only when you choose to record a voice note. Notification permission is used only to schedule local reminders when a draft is ready to open.

FutureDraft does not include your private draft message, photos, or voice recording content in notification text.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete drafts inside the app. Deleting a draft removes its stored draft record and attached local media. You can also remove all FutureDraft data by deleting the app from your device.

Children’s Privacy

FutureDraft is not directed to children under 13.

Security

FutureDraft keeps your content offline and on your device. The app does not currently add separate app-level encryption beyond the protections provided by iOS and your device settings.
